Born and raised in Kentucky, Chambers graduated from Columbia College in New York City in 1985 and attended law school at the University of Texas. At UT, he was associate editor of the Texas Law Review and graduated with honors in 1988.

After serving as an associate at Susman Godfrey, L.L.P., he left in 1994 to form Puls & Chambers, L.L.P. in Fort Worth. After developing Puls & Chambers, L.L.P. into a Plaintiff's powerhouse that in five short years obtained $79 million in verdicts and settlements, primarily in Dallas and Tarrant Counties, Chambers then moved his practice to Dallas. Chambers opened Chambers Law Firm in Dallas to better serve Plaintiffs in personal injury and business tort litigation.

In just over 2 years at Chambers Law Firm, P.L.L.C., Chambers obtained jury verdicts as lead counsel of $17.1 million and settlements as lead or co-counsel of over $63.5 million bringing his practice total to over $95 million in recoveries for clients.

On the defense side in trial, Chambers beat over $1.5 billion in claims brought against his clients.

During a six month trial in Harris County, Texas, reportedly the longest civil trial in Harris County history, Chambers forged an alliance and friendship with lawyers from Ware, Snow, Fogel & Jackson, L.L.P. Chambers has now joined the firm as a partner with his principal office in Houston, Texas.

Chambers will continue to accept and try cases in Dallas and Tarrant County, but having come full circle back to Houston – he intends to stay.

In addition to his personal injury and business tort practice, Chambers has been appointed and approved by courts as class counsel in class action cases involving antitrust violations and securities fraud.

Chambers is admitted to the Texas Bar, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.

Chambers is a member of the Dallas and Tarrant County, American and International Bar Associations, as well as the State Bar of Texas, The Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

In 2004, Texas Monthly has named Chambers a "Rising Star" among Texas trial lawyers.
